I hold a degree in Professional Writing from the University of Toronto, and have won various writing awards, including the National Writing Award from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.   For over a decade I led groups of local fiction and non-fiction writers, coached and copyedited their work, some of whom have gone on to be published authors.   Throughout the span of my 20-year career in the non-profit field, my work heavily involved content creation, copywriting and copyediting which resulted in very successful local and national resources and campaigns.  Additionally, I have trained under successful digital content influencers like Sean Cannell, and also, was recently published as a co-author of a research paper in the journal of the American Psychological Association.  In my spare time, I'm a digital content creator on YouTube, and working on my second novel.
